About Danube Line Coaches

Danube Line began in 2011 with two coaches on the Budapest–Vienna run, and grew by picking up the routes the rail timetable abandoned after nine at night. It still runs on the same principle: the overnight services are the real business, the day services exist to reposition the fleet, and anything left on board goes into a numbered bag at the terminus rather than a pile behind a desk.

How the desk works

Open and closed cases with their reference and state. Look one up with its reference and the email the ticket was bought under, or sign in and see your own.

A ticket is looked up by its ticket number together with the email it belongs to — both, always. A signed-in visitor skips that: the assistant reads their own tickets from their identity and never asks for an address it has already been given.

The Viber connection is on the roadmap, not in production — this page shows the assistant half of it working against a seeded board so you can judge the experience before an account exists. Nothing written here reaches a real system.
